Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation will set up a center in Montreal to conduct R & D studies to support the design and product safety of regional Spacejet aircraft. This center, which will invest up to 135 million dollars in total, will create around 250 jobs. 
The Quebec government will provide interest-free loans of $12 million through the Quebec Investment Agency.
The state of Quebec has undisputed expertise in the design, development, and safety of aviation products. Mitsubishi Aircraft Corporation's arrival in the province is also important for the region's economy and employment.
