ETO expands its product line for the next 100 years

ETO Co., Ltd. (Yokohama, Japan) is strengthening sales development through group collaboration and expanding into new product areas.

The company's sales for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2022, were 15.6 billion yen, up 25% from the same period of the previous year.

Automotive sales were weak due to the shortage of semiconductors from the second half of the year. On the other hand, construction and industrial machinery performed well. Housing equipment-related sales were affected by a lull in demand for covid-19, which had a positive impact in the previous year, and the shortage of semiconductors in some areas. Overall, profits were secured.

President Shinji Sakuma has been working to strengthen ties with Kyokuto Boeki Group since assuming the top position last June. Since the product areas of Sunco Spring are similar to those of Kyokuto Boeki Group, the two companies have been sharing customers and products in terms of sales and marketing. In addition, the two companies have begun to mutually utilize their overseas bases, such as by having Kyokuto Boeki's North American base hold their inventory.

The company, which has been in business for more than 100 years, has set its sights on the next 100 years by expanding its lineup of new commercial products. In addition to fastening parts, the company will expand its business domain by utilizing the Group's products and developing suppliers. In addition to fastening parts, the company has begun handling alcohol checkers, AGVs for transporting heavy objects, and medical equipment.

President Sakuma said, "We will expand our sales activities to meet the needs of our customers and develop new products for the next 100 years, and we will also work to reduce the inventory that has grown as a result of covid-19"
