A languages variation from ancient indigenous peoples at South America, the Tupi-Guarani gives the name to Jundiaí - which some identify as the “catfish river”. In Jundiaí town, San Paulo State, are located the headquarters of Böllhoff Brasil, since 1964.
At less than achieve the impressive milestone of 150 years since its founding, in 1877, the Böllhoff Group held on October 4, 2024 “a rehearsal”, so to speak, of its big celebration for the year 2027, through the 60th anniversary of its subsidiary in Brazil, where manufactures a wide range of mechanical fastening elements, with strong ties to customers in the automotive sector as a fastener provider leader.
That celebration was dedicated to local employees and executives and was attended by some distinguished guests from the founding period, as well as the participation of global directors, Thomas Pixa (CFO) and Wilhelm Böllhoff, who in turn speaks Portuguese well, which makes him a very friendly figure for everyone, according to Flavio Silva, local CEO, corroborated by our team.
